Proof of Age
LAVic requires that ALL NEW MEMBERS must provide proof of age to the Registrar. This may be in the form of a passport, birth certificate or child health record.
'Proof of age' must be shown prior to athletes competing, or forfeit all results up until such time as it is presented.
Uniform
Members are required to wear the LAWav uniform. This includes;
The LAWav top (available as a t-shirt, singlet or crop top), priced at $35.
Plain black shorts (available as 'normal', 'hipsters' or 'bike pants/leggings') priced at $22.
The club is offering existing members the opportunity to sell pre-loved spikes or sprint shoes (at a cost determined by the owner).
Pre-loved items may be left at Registration or competition days (at owner's risk) in a 'CLEAR BAG' (zip-lock) with an envelope included that lists the owner's name, contact details, product details and sale price.
The seller, at their discretion, may consider donating a 'handling fee' to LAWav for assisting with the sale of their pre-loved items.
Age Groups

Parent Duty, Code of Behaviour and Privacy Agreement
LAWav is a non profit organisation that relies on the assistance of parents to operate. Therefore, ALL families who register athletes in the Little Athletics program are required to contribute to its operation.
To successfully operate the Little Athletics program on a weekly basis (which often involves over 300 athletes participating at one time) a minimum of 60 parents is required to do Duty!
LAWav therefore asks that every registered family assists at least once per fortnight. Duty may include measuring jumps or throws, raking the long jump pits, assisting age group leaders or recording results.
Duty positions are easy and assistance is provided to those who are new or are unsure.
In some extraordinary circumstances families may be unable to assist. In this instance, a $50 duty levy fee may be requested to be paid .... in lieu of completing duty.
By completing the Registration process, parents are accepting the conditions stipulated in the LAWav Parent's Charter and the LAVic Privacy and Parent - Guardian Declaration Statement.
