What is expected of Parents ?

Parents are expected to assist with the running of weekly programes by carrying out regular duty requirements (at least every 2nd week).
There are many types of duties available - most parents enjoy 'officiating' at an event (e.g. Long Jump, Discus, Recording, etc).
Other typical duty requirements are canteen, BBQ, set up & pack up of equipment, administration, etc. Additional assistance is always welcomed on/by the Centre Committee.

Parents must also remain at the Centre at all times during competition in case of an emergancy - or nominate a reponsible person for the child.

How to Help at Little Athletics has been written for the new parent or anyone who hasn’t been involved with the sport before.  It aims to provide basic information about all the events that make up the weekly program.

Don't be afraid to ask or seek assistance at any time. You can find any Committee member to direct your questions toward.
Alternativley, you can contact us

We are always looking for new & enthusiastic parents to take on a more perminant role within the Centre.

What is expected of the Children ?

Children must:

  • Behave in a proper manner with their friends and parents
  • Uphold our motto “Family, Fun, Fitness” and  "Be Your Best"

Additionally, please ensure you read the Centre Rules and Codes of Conduct that are outlined in the Centre Booklet.
